This newest pair is done in a style familiar to fans of Three Stripes classic basketball designs, as the recent past has given us similar suede makeups for the Pro Conference, Decade, Hook Shot and a host of other old school hoop shoes. This Americana Hi 88 is all red suede with gold leaf branding on the sides and a crisp white sole, a timeless trendy tonal look that's up for grabs now at Originals accounts like Kith. adidas Skateboarding expands their Americana adidas terrex Vin offerings quite literally with this newest pair. The adidas Skate Americana Vin Mid brings the old school blucher back up to a height similar to the basketball shoe from which this model was born. It comes to us in a colorway every bit as timeless as the silhouette, a Mid Cinder grey suede makeup with Running White Stripes and sole, and just a bit of the adidas deerupt adi signature royal blue for that extra bit of brand recognition.

The dominant influence of classic runners on the three stripes has been fairly noticeable in the early stages of 2014  the most recent silhouette being the obscure adidas Originals APS which just returned to store shelves. A relic of the 1980s era, the silhouette features the signature suede and mesh combination on the alternating panels but got most of the attention thanks to its Antipronation and Shock Absorption System that allowed for a custom ride. And even though the technology is no more, it's nice to see adidas Originals continue to embrace the past with the return of this model in the classic white-red-blue colorway. adidas Originals has brought back a significant number of classic runners in recent years, and here we have one of the more obscure pairs that should get a bit more attention than last time around. The adiads Originals APS is rather obviously of the 1980s suede and mesh era, but it stood out from the pack because of that namesake adjustable cushioning system that allowed for a custom tuned ride. The technology died out but this silhouette and its classic embroidery script are right around the corner, and one way you can get in on the May release is with a pre-order starting April 1st at Hanon. Here's an exciting development for adidas fans, but will it feature the tuning key that made these so remarkable in the first place?

The adiRise 2 also features drumstick dubraes and lateral heel inscriptions as well as a sunglassed Animal head on the tongue, and they're available now at select Three Stripes retailers like CitySole. It launched about three weeks ago with four tonal releases, but the adidas Originals adiRise 2.0 is already back with a new colorway. This new edition is inspired by the NBA's reigning and youngest-ever MVP, Derrick Rose, though the color code on this Chicago-style dish can be seen as a takeoff on the most famous Bull. adidas even calls the pink-leaning red accent shade  Infra Red', a not-so-subtle take on the Nike Inc. shade prominently featured on the Air Jordan VI in which Michael won his first championship.
